Business plan? Choice of legal form? Financing? Choice of location? These and many other questions are part of the free one-to-one meetings that we regularly offer at our office in Pfaffenhofen. The focus is always on your idea and your personal situation.
Even if your start-up is already a few months old and you still need support: The KUS is at your disposal as a central point of contact in the district.
Following the initial meeting, the KUS will be happy to support you in the further start-up process, in drawing up a business plan, finding free commercial space or providing information on financial aid and further training opportunities such as business start-up seminars.
How does a consultation work?
To help you prepare for your interview, we have put together some questions that you will be asked.
However, it goes without saying that each consultation is tailored to the individual case.
- Is the business run as a main or secondary occupation?
- Are there already products available?
- Which sector?
- Is there a business plan?
- How do I reach the target customers?
- What is the market volume?
- How do I earn money?
- What is my unique selling point?
- etc.
After the introductory questions, the consultant makes an initial assessment based on the answers given. The person himself is discussed in more detail:
- Am I ready to start a business?
- What are the private framework conditions like?
- Am I a founder personality?
- Can stumbling blocks be put in my way?
- What is the risk?
- etc.
As the conversation progresses, we then delve deeper into the subject matter:
- Which legal form makes sense?
- What are the tax implications?
- Is this a profession requiring a license?
- Which property rights should be observed?
- Is there a location or does a property have to be rented?
- What formalities and requirements are needed to register a business?
- What legal obligations exist (annual financial statements, EÜR, accounting, managing director liability, etc….)

The business plan is the most elementary basic element when setting up a business. If it has been drawn up correctly, it is the foundation stone for the future company. The business plan is the entrepreneur’s “bible”, as all content, from marketing to financial planning, can be reviewed at any time and can always be adapted. Here, for example, the target/actual comparison of figures is the foundation for future accounting/controlling.

- How high is the cost of living?
- How should it be financed?
- How is the turnover and profit planning calculated?
- What assumptions can be made?

At the end of the consultation, any unanswered questions are recorded and covered by e-mail afterwards. We are also happy to answer any further questions you may have.
