The KUS offers a variety of events for different target groups that address current and relevant topics.
Entrepreneur Day
The Entrepreneur Day is the largest networking event in the district of Pfaffenhofen and is organized by the KUS and the district’s Economic Advisory Council in cooperation with the vbw – Bavarian Business Association.
As an economic policy information and communication platform, it takes place every two years at Scheyern Monastery. In the years in between, the Entrepreneur Forum offers a platform for information and networking.
The Entrepreneur Award of the district of Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm is presented as part of the Entrepreneur Day. A jury selects a company in the district from nomination proposals that impressively fulfills the nomination criteria of the specially compiled list of criteria.

Entrepreneur Award
The Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm District Entrepreneur Award is presented every two years. A jury consisting of representatives of the district, the Economic Advisory Council and the KUS selects a company in the district from nomination proposals that impressively fulfills the nomination criteria of the specially created criteria catalog. These range from a special commitment to the education of young people with poor educational backgrounds or to voluntary work, exemplary social or ecological responsibility and the compatibility of family and career to the market launch of innovative products and services or even a bold start-up idea.
Entrepreneur Forum
The Entrepreneur Forum in the district of Pfaffenhofen is organized by the Kommunalunternehmen Strukturentwicklung Landkreis Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm (KUS) in cooperation with the IHK München und Oberbayern and the city of Vohburg. In addition to specialist information, it offers an ideal communication platform for networking entrepreneurs in the district. It takes place every two years, with the big Entrepreneurs’ Day at Scheyern Monastery in between.
Inclusion prize "Economy makes inclusion"
The “Wirtschaft macht Inklusion (WIn)” inclusion prize is awarded every two years as part of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum. Any company located in the district that is committed to employees with disabilities and has found individual solutions to adapt the workplace to their needs can be considered for the award. The district of Pfaffenhofen and the sponsor of the prize money of 1,000 euros, Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Bayern Mitte eG, would like to reward this commitment and honor a company that sets a positive example that will be emulated by many others.
Business breakfast
The KUS Entrepreneur Breakfast is a forum for exchange, information and networking. It offers the opportunity to get to know excellent speakers and gain an insight into current topics. The mornings, which are free of charge for entrepreneurs, are often used to establish and maintain good and further contacts.
Networking events Foundation
With KUS meets founders and regular virtual founder meetings, informative networking events are available to founders in the district of Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm.
